When running a first aid on the "Macintosh HD - Data" volume I am getting the error below:

Fusion data structures are invalid
The Volume /dev/rdisk2s1 could not be verified completely
File system check exit code is 8
Restoring....
File system verify or reoair failed:(-69845)
I tried fsck and fsck_hsf from terminal but this does not fix it.

Note: "Before proceeding, make sure that you have a current backup of your Mac, in case you need to recover damaged files or Disk Utility finds errors that it can't repair."

Make sure to boot from recovery mode or from a macOS USB installer since First Aid is unable to fix certain errors while booting from the drive being repaired. If First Aid is unable to fix the errors even when running First Aid from external media, then you will need to erase the drive, reinstall macOS and restore from a backup.
If I delete the fusion drive, can I then reinstall macOS?
It's not commonly known that sometimes in order to complete a disk repair, Disk Utility's repair may need to be rerun multiple times. Give that a try.
I tried the first aid many times, it keeps failing to verify the disk. I assume you meant I should try the fsck command also multiple times.
