Contacts tab missing from iCloud.com web page. I have the contacts on all my devices, iPad, iPhone, and my 2 MAC computers but when I log in to iCloud there are no contacts available.

Hi Cpat6d,

If you're not seeing any contacts on the iCloud website, this could be because the contacts on your devices are syncing with a different account. Let's start with confirming which account new contacts added to your device are syncing with.

To check this on your iPhone and iPad follow the steps under the "Choose a default account to add new contacts" section of Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Navigate to Contacts section.
  3. Tap Default Account to confirm which account is chosen there.

For your Mac, you'll want to follow the steps in Change General settings in Contacts on Mac. How to find this will vary depending on the macOS version installed on your Mac. If needed, select the appropriate version of macOS in the "Select version" drop-down in the top left-hand corner.

If your default account is set to something other than iCloud, this means any contacts added to the Contacts app are added to a different account.

If you'd like to add them to iCloud you can export existing contacts from your Mac using the steps in Export or archive contacts in Contacts on Mac.

  • "In the Contacts app  on your Mac, choose File > Export > Contacts Archive, choose a location, then click Save.
  • The contacts are exported as an archive file (.abbu) only."

From there, change the default account for Contacts to iCloud on your Mac, and Import contacts into Contacts on Mac.

"Import contacts from an archive file (.abbu)

Important: Importing an archive file replaces your current contact information.

  1. In the Contacts app  on your Mac, choose File > Import.
  2. Select the archive file, then click Open."

To ensure any new contacts added in the future are syncing with iCloud, you'll also want to change the default account for Contacts on your other devices.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
