Garageband known issues with Ventura

Hi. Since installing Ventura, I seem to be having trouble with Garageband. 1. Levels on all tracks on 2 particular projects show as maxed yet the sliders are set to the correct levels, this applies to ALL tracks. 2. a HUGE distorted sound appears at a few bars in which stops as soon as I stop the track. 3 One minute I have volume output from GB, the next, I don't! System sounds etc and other apps appear to be fine for volume. Is GB corrupt or is it just the 2 Projects? Is this just a coincidence with Ventura or are there known issues with GB?
