After receiving my new iPhone 14 I cannot receive or send message in a group thread that has an android user. I am able to send individual messages to android users but not in a group message. I have tried all recommended tips. Any ideas?

Based on the meagre information given by you in your post, I presume the following.
You may be sending an SMS to an individual message to an Android user.
Probably you are sending MMS in the group chat. Sending Photos or Files requires MMS.
You need MMS enabled by your Carrier for the SIM that you use and then enable it in your Settings. See the Pic below

Yes it was limited information. Apologies. But when I say I have tried all the tips, I mean I have google and done everything recommended including your suggestion. MMS is enabled. Group messaging enabled. Network reset. Phone is updated on software. Turned off celular settings and turned back on. Turned phone off and back on. Nothing is working.
The best answer in this link worked for me. But it took me a while to find the block services tab in the my Verizon mobile app. Good luck:

I have the same issue . Also, I cannot send a meme or a picture to anybody with an android, but can receive a picture from them. Do you have the same issue?
I resolved this issue by contacting my wireless carrier (Verizon) and they reset something on their end.
I have found that it is when sending messages over ten characters with an iPhone 13.
