Plus in the previous chat I was receiving on my old phone I did not receive the messages today. My husband is on the group chat and is still receiving and he does use iphone

Hello cindi294,

It sounds like you aren't able to receive group MMS since upgrading to your new phone, and you've already viewed the article on sending MMS and iMessage, right?

When this happens, do you have cellular data turned on? Since MMS is through the carrier's cellular network, you will need cellular data turned on when sending and receiving messages.

Have you attempted to restart your device to see if that makes a difference?

Restart your iPhone

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Regards.

I have the same problem on a iPhone 14 pro, coming from an iPhone 8 Plus. Group chats with iPhone and Android users used to work and now they don’t

I don’t even get an undelivered. It looks like it sends, but it doesn’t to iPhone or android

is there a solution to this please?

what settings are supposed to be on ? Maybe an Apple tech can go over all the carrier,

iMessage and other settings that should be enabled.

I have tried these steps and it has not resolved the issue. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.3. I replace an older iPhone 12 with this phone and now I cannot receive group messages that include numbers from non-iOS devices. MMS messaging is enabled as well as group messaging. Send as MMS is also enabled but I have tried it disabled with no change. I have powered the phone off completely with no change. The last thing I am about to try but I don't have a ton of faith in is to back up the device and factory default it. Can someone answer if this is simply a known issue and will be fixed with an update so I don't waste anymore time troubleshooting this device?

I have an Iphone 14 plus. My Mom pasted away and there was a

group text regarding arrangements. My siblings thought I received the messages

because there wasn't any message on their end that I didn't receive them. The

message originated from an Iphone 12. It was sent to 2 non Iphone users

(Samsung and Pixel), 2 Iphone 12 users and 1 Iphone 14 pro user. The originator

did not see that me, the Iphone 14 plus user did not receive the message.

Everyone received the message but me. I then went through several tests and

discovered the Iphone 14 plus cannot receive group messages if a non user is on

the message and the Iphone 14 plus cannot send a group text if a non Iphone

user is on the group text. This is very dangerous especially since group

texting is used for important information. This should be an issue that is

fixed immediately!
