2 phone numbers on My Card on one phone, and the same 2 on My Card on the other

My iPhone 13 has taken over the phone number of another iPhone and now I have 2 phone numbers that can take incoming calls. Both phones now have the same Home contacts.

How do I get back to each having their own numbers? They are both with the same provider.

As and added "feature", Silence Unknown Callers is doing that for most calls but it is turned OFF.

Hi Martin Cooper,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your iPhone shows two phone numbers. Is it possible that you setup eSIM on your iPhone?

You would have had to go through a series of instructions to enable this on iPhone. It would be best to your carrier to ask about your iPhone being provisioned with a second phone number.

Apple support contacted me and worked out what was happening.

The Apple ID for the home phone imposed itself on my personal phone. This made it impossible to revert back to my original phone Apple ID.

I had to create a new Apple ID for the home phone. How this happened is beyond me. It would require an effort on my part to do whatever happened.

The home phone has defective SIM card or account with the provider. The phone does not ring for incoming calls. More follow up to come.
