How to restrict song selection in Apple Music for kids' accounts

I have an Apple One subscription with Apple Music and Family Sharing setup. I would like for my younger kids to have access to some songs that we add to the Library and Playlists for them, but to restrict their access and ability to see other music we haven't already approved of. We also want to block Listen Now, Browse, Radio and Search from showing up which allows them to simply bypass what we have setup.

Would really love help on how to do this as we do not want to open up all music to them. My wife and I believe that some music isn't appropriate for our children, even music that doesn't have explicit lyrics. Thank you!

Thank you for that quick reply. I have gone through all of those settings successfully for my older kids and am fine with that. I really am looking for the ability to Whitelist specific songs and playlists. Kind of like in the old days when you could choose which songs to sync to specific devices. With Apple not selling the iPod anymore, it seems like the iPhone and iPad are the only choices. With our subscription to Apple One, we were hoping we'd be able to use one of our many existing Apple devices for these kids and not have to buy a non-Apple device that doesn't allow us to stream the songs we are ok with our kids hearing.

I'd really appreciate any further help/suggestions. Thank you!

However, I don't believe you can essentially whitelist music and only allow them to have access to that. You can restrict content based on available ratings but I don't know how much further you can go than that.

I suspect there is a way to turn off Apple Music for the device and only use music you've purchased or ripped from your own CDs. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that off the top of my head and am unwilling to go messing with my phone. Hopefully, someone else will drop in with additional suggestions.
