Ventura OS compatibility with Logic 10.7.4

Hi -- upon plugging my new iPhone 14 into my M1 MacBook Pro (currently running OS Monterey) just now, I was prompted to install the latest OSX software update.

If I jump to Ventura, will I have any issues with running my Logic 10.7.4?

Hi discodogg,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

Logic Pro 10.7.5 is the latest update and according to the Mac App Store requires macOS 12.3 or later. So you can run it on Monterrey currently. Running it on Ventura should be no problem. You can read about it here: Logic Pro release notes.

Before any upgrading, please make sure you have a backup. This article details how to Back up your Mac with Time Machine.

If you have concerns about upgrading to Ventura because of possible incompatibility with any third-party gear you are using with Logic, we'd advise contacting the manufacturer to find out more information.

Have a fantastic day!
