I’ve been streaming video (picture & sound) from multiple apps utilizing my iPhone (currently an iPhone XR) to my LG Smart TV using an Apple brand HDMI-to-Lightning adapter with zero (0) problems. Updated to iSO 16.1.2 last night. Now I get video but no sound. Yet with my wife’s iPad, I still get picture and sound. Except for iOS nothing changed in my setup. What’s up.
I had already made such a search. May or may not have seen every conversation. Found one after I submitted mine that said they experienced same problem on two (2) phones after iSO 16.1.2 was installed. Found some other post talking about it happening with iSO 12. I already know it’s not an equipment/ accessory/ device problem since everything still works when using my wife’s iPAD, which has not been updated to iSO 16.1.2. So it’s a glitch in iSO 16 that Apple needs to address and soon!
