Lock Screen/Home Screen

Can you no longer have a different picture on your Home Screen behind your apps? I changed my lock screen and it also removed my home screen photo.

iPhone 11

If you are using iOS 16, follow the instructions for setting up your wallpaper then, when you tap on 'Add’, you should get the prompt shown here

tap 'Customise Home Screen’ and this will allow you several options including selecting a completely different photo.

Hope this works for you.

Hello,

Yeah, the standard is to have them both be the same.

However, you can make them different, but it is complicated. There are some non-Apple sites that describe the steps. Just perform an on-line search to get the instructions.

Good luck.
