I created an album for Christmas but when i add music, i hit options, music and it will only let me add 1 song. If i go to my library and open “songs” it has + sign but will not let me add more than 1 song?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, we do want to let you know that this would be expected behavior, and you can only choose one song when creating a slideshow from photos in the Photo app.
