Apple Watch Location is Wrong

None of the other posts are helpful because the same person keeps replying with an answer that isn't correct in my case.

I am wearing my fully charged watch and holding my fully charged iPhone. I went into Find My to make sure I had everything enabled, after a recent near loss. It placed my watch at my work, over two miles away. When I pinged it, that worked properly. But it still didn’t update the map. This won’t be helpful should I actually lose my watch.

Is there something I’m missing in settings?

Hi there vegiac,

Taking a look at Set up Find My on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac,

If you want to be able to find your lost device on a map, make sure that Location Services is turned on. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, and turn on Location Services.

If you have verified these settings, and are still having issues, you'll want to Contact Apple Support for assistance.

Take care.
