I can’t sign in to the App Store

Wondering what the error message said ... could point to the solution.

Here are a few possibilities:

(1) You might want to check you are signed in (to your device) with your Apple ID:

(2). For the first time you use the App Store, 

you need a payment method in your Apple ID account, even for free apps.

(3) Check if settings have a restriction on purchases:

(4). What to do:

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store or other Apple services – Apple Support

(5). If a message says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes' - Apple Support
