Hard shell case for MacBook Pro 14 inch

Just got the new MacBook Pro 2021 14 inch. Already set up.

Now my concern is whether we should invest in hard shell case for this MacBook Pro. There are so many confusing statements online - one one hand it says we should not use hard shell case for MacBook Pro as it will increase the pressure on display , it will loosen the hinges, it will heat the laptop etc. I do have padded laptop bag for this MacBook Pro for travel .

but you know sometimes you work in the different environments other than home and office where the laptop can get easily scratched so I do not know whether it is worth to buy hard shell case ?
