I created a new Photos.library file in the External Drive.
When I try to import photos from the Imac or Iphone to this photos.library app inside External Drive the importing just shows 0% and does not progess at all?
Kindly Help please..

What format is the external disk? It needs to be formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled) or apfs.
Disks can be reformatted with Disk Utility, but doing so erases them, so be sure to back up important data first.

It Worked!!
I had this confusion should I Format using Mac OS Journaled or APFS.
With some research I think APFS is better so i formatted to APFS.
Now it's working perfectly. Thanks So much!
