cannot watch netflix on my mac air

I have a mac air with OSX Yosemite - yesterday it just stopped working for watching netflix, although it had worked perfectly well till then.

I cannot download firefox, cannot download Edge, and Safari won't update. Does anyone have other suggestions? (I know i'm reaching)
