ssa.gov website problems

i have a 2011 Mac Os High Sierra version 10.13.6 . i can log in to my ssa.gov account, but after i accept their terms and click ok, my screen goes white and says "loading" for eternity. can anyone help with this? ssa.gov is not responsive to my phone calls. i have tried both safari and firefox with the same results. thank you
