Pages download for High Sierra (10.13)
I have downloaded pages on my iPhone running iOS 15.7.1 but can't download it on my Mac. Why?
(I would upgrade to iOS 16 & MacOS 12 but they're both too old)
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

The current version of Pages for Mac requires that you are running macOS Monterey (12.*), or Ventura (13.*). Apple does not provide full past Pages installer versions for user download.
If you have never installed Pages from the Mac App Store, then you cannot get it for operating systems older than above. You would have to use Pages for iOS/iPadOS, or iCloud.
If you have previously installed Pages since Oct 2013 on your Mac from the Mac App Store, then launch the Mac App Store, and sign in with the same Apple ID as used before. If you are using macOS Mojave, then you can press cmd+0 (zero) to open the Purchased panel, and if Pages appears there with a blue outline download symbol, or Update button, then do that. You may receive one or more dialogs where you do not click Cancel. One of these will ask if you want the last compatible version of Pages for that operating system, and when done you will have it.
If you are on Sierra or High Sierra, the press the option key and click the Purchased tab on the Mac App Store, otherwise it should behave as described above after you click the Update button.
