iPhone, remote and 10 second fast forward

I am using my iPhone to connect to Apple TV and if I watch NFL game pass or YouTube I cannot advance 10 seconds. If I’m on Netflix, the 10 second fastforward and rewind does appear on my iPhone remote… How can I get the 10 second fast forward to show up on my remote when I watch NFL game pass?

unable to fast forward on apps When I first got Apple TV 4K. I could fast forward on apps eg Disney plus etc. but now I cannot. I can still skip 10 seconds but that’s about it. If I hold the right button down on remote it looks like it is going to try and fast forward as you get arrows appear but then nothing and it just carries on playing the content. Again I can skip 10 seconds and that continues to work but actually fast forwarding I cannot. I have to resort to the iPhone Apple Tv remote and skip through on that instead. I’ve also tried pausing the program and trying to fast forward but that doesn’t seem to work using the remote either. It used to though so wondering if the software updates (I’m on latest currently) have stopped it functioning as well?

Can’t pair iPhone remote with Apple TV on LG smart tv I have lost my Apple TV remote. For a few years I used a remote app on my iphone and it worked perfectly. However as you probably know that app is gone now as iPhones have it already installed. but here’s my problem. I go to connect my iphone remote to Apple TV that’s on my LG smart tv and I can’t put the code in anywhere on my lg tv. It doesn’t even register that I’m trying to connect my phone to it. I have it on the hdmi my Apple TV box is connected to. I have tried turning it on and off. But I still can’t type in the code on my iPhone onto anywhere on my tv. They are connected to the same wifi and I can screen share and use airplay

Since this is happening with just those particular apps, you'll want to reach out to the app developers: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support They'd be in the best position to help with troubleshooting their particular apps further.
