Mac Mini poor WiFi speed

My Mac Mini M1 2020 has consistent download speeds less than 30Mbps, whereas my iPad, sitting right next to it, or on top of it, gets >300 Mbps consistently. Uploads also similarly low.

The wireless antenna is on the bottom cover making the Mac mini sensitive to outside interference.
