Gift card inner card GCA does not match GCA code on the outer envelope

This should be a lot higher and more search relevant. ^^^

After uploading photos of my receipt and outer/inner gift card, a third phone call which included three different departments and or levels in the hierarchy of customer service, they were able to give me a valid redemption code. Problem rectified.

I'm in the middle of the same experience currently. Issue has been escalated up the chain of command and am still awaiting resolution. Seems like this could be a large scale issue with rite aid apple gift cards (purchased mine in Orinda, CA). Also opened another gift card sleeve with manager of Rite Aid to find GCA code mismatch.

I am having the same issue and filed cases for both Apple and the store (Targeting my case), but none of them are able to provide a good solution to me.

Yes, all my dealings chronicled above were with apple support, and ultimately they provided a valid code, after providing photos of receipt and gift card, and a subsequent internal investigation. It took three separate calls to come to the final solution.

Gotcha, I had two separate calls with Apple and one Apple case number but they kept pushing me away to the Target, had three case numbers with Target but they cannot proceed the refund nor give me a new card, I'll try apple support again then, thank you!

I'm having the same issue, got the gift card from target and found its mismatch without leaving the store. I'm contacting Apple for the problem.
