If you have an iPhone 12 or later connected to a 5G network,and your service provider allows it, you can go to Settings ➡️ [your name] ➡️ iCloud ➡️ iCloud Backup, then turn on Backup Over Cellular. It will then backup when connected to cellular.
If the option is not available there, then your carrier does not support it, or your iPhone does not support 5G and in that case you will need a good strong Wi-Fi connection to back up.
