Siri Monotone in Carplay

IOS 16.1.2 Siri sounds monotone and almost robotic when reading messages in Carplay. It was not like this before. Haven't changed cars or radios etc. If I use navigation the voice is normal Siri with voice deflections etc. Tried changing voices and back again, rebooting phone, etc etc. Nothing works. How to I fix this?

Also have a family member who got a new iPhone 13 and theirs also sounds the same way in their car so it has to be something on the apple side or a setting that has changed.

HELP??

Hello Jimjrfl,

You can adjust Siri's voice to your liking by following these steps:

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Go to Settings > Siri & Search.

Tap Language to change the language that Siri uses for requests and responses.

Tap Siri Voice to change the voice that Siri speaks.

To hear spoken responses from Siri on your device, tap Settings > Siri & Search > Siri Responses."
