Imovie in full screen does not fit to the screen

Hi I'm having this same problem and it is not an option to manually resize the app window. The cursor doesn't offer the 2 headed arrow. Is this a bug? Please help as I bought this MacBook Air specifically to use iMovie and this is of great impedance.

Imovie in full screen does not fit to the screen (it goes way beyond the screen on the right side)

I've worked out what the problem is. I have my display settings at Larger text. There is a warning that this may affect some applications. Total disaster for me. The reason I chose the 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip was due to the excellent screen quality. Very disappointingly I'll have to return it as is unless if I can't use iMovie effectively.
