IPhone 14 - Text Message Failures

I am having issues with text messaging on my iPhone 14 pro max. On some accounts that I text I can like a text or dislike a text such as a thumbs up thumbs down, etc. but when I try to send them a text, I will get a text failure or message not delivered. I’ve checked my settings and I’ve checked that individuals contact and everything seems to be in line. So I don’t know if this is one of Apples interesting quirks that randomly selects contacts that it wants to not allow texting , but has anyone else experienced this annoying little issue?
