How to get the Finder to "Scale to fit below built-in camera"?

Greetings,

Does anyone know a way to get the Finder to "Scale to fit below built-in camera" so part of the menu bar is not lost? I need that space for icons. They are getting cut off. I want the menu bar to *always* be below the camera notch. Also, just seeing it is annoying.

Thanks

Hello Chuck Risher,

This page will have the available steps for adjusting an app's settings to appear below the camera area: How to adjust an app's settings to appear below the camera area on your 13.6-inch MacBook Air, 14-inch MacBook Pro, or 16-inch MacBook Pro - Apple Support

Turn on 'Scale to fit below built-in camera' for an app
1. Quit the app.
2. Click the Finder icon in the Dock, then click Applications in the Finder sidebar.
3. Select the app, then choose File > Get Info, or press Command-I.
4. In the Info window that opens, select "Scale to fit below built-in camera."

If an app or service doesn't have the available option, you may opt to leave feedback. Apple's dedicated site for feedback can be found here: Product Feedback - Apple

For third-party apps, you may try reaching out to the app's developer.

Cheers.
