Tech Support Human Being Help

Hi. I have had a problem on my Mac, after weeks of browsing and trying every solution, the problem persisted and several people here in Communities explained that the only solution would be to format / reboot the computer. I backed everything to a disk and then followed the steps in the Apple article on how to erase de hard disk through Disk Utilities.

However, now when I try to turn it on a Folder with a Question Mark start popping up and nothing else happens. I also followed the Apple Article on how to deal with that by opening it via Command + R but I can’t seem to fix it.

I would really need some help, I tried reaching Tech Support but I live in Mozambique, there’s no number and I can’t set up a call, I can’t reach Tech Support Chat or email!!! Please help me either fix the problem or reach tech support please

What is the exact model of your Mac? You can get this information by entering the system serial number here:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

What version of macOS did you try to install?

How did you partition & format the drive? If you can boot into Recovery Mode, then launch the Terminal app from the Utilities menu and issue the following command which will display the internal drive layout so we can make sure they are correct for the OS you are trying to install. Post the results here (a picture may be best).

diskutil list internal

Edit: If you had any other threads where you were receiving assistance, then please link them here so we can review them on the details of issues you had before performing a clean install. It is possible the original reason for a clean install is still the reason the clean install is not working which would indicate a hardware issue needing to be repaired. Otherwise please provide us with some of the details of the issues you had before erasing the Mac.
