McAire (from McIntosh Audio Labs) + AppleTV?

It seems I might inherit a (Mcintosh Audio) McAire compact audio unit. It is specially adapted to 2013ish Airplay input from -wireless- or USB connected Apple iphone or ipad. Is it possible to USB connect AppleTV as feed to it...? Anyone with experience on this?

The connection between those 2 devices is made by ethernet, via airplay. It worked perfectly until the last tv OS 17. For now, I haven't found any way to make it work properly with the apple tv (while the airplay still works fine with an iPhone or iMac). I am searching a way to make it work again, or, downgrade to the last working one (tv OS 16.x) Can you help me? Thanks.

There is no USB port on the new Apple TV, and even the older ones only used it for servicing. The Apple TV can accept airplay once it has been established from a sending device.
