Alarm is too quiet 16.1.2

Since the most recent update my alarm is quieter than normal. When choosing a different alarm sound the tone is louder but if I test the alarm it is quieter again what happened I want the alarm to be full volume and all my setting are max

If your alarms are not as loud as expected when they go off, but they sound correct when setting them, you can try some basic troubleshooting steps:


  1. If you are on your iPhone when this happens, see if Attention Aware Features is on in Settings > Face ID & Passcode as "If you're looking at your device, it will lower the volume sound of your alerts." Turn Attention Aware features on or off on your iPhone or iPad Pro
  2. If you are using a downloaded or purchased tone, see if this happens with the default tone.
  3. Restart your iPhone
  4. Remove your alarm and set it up again
