Apple Watch Series 2 Replacement Glitchy

I sent my Series 2 Watch in with $79 for a replacement because my battery would no longer hold a charge. Other than that it worked perfectly. The replacement is glitchy.....sometimes the battery doesn't last all day (even on a quiet day), but the biggest issue is that it randomly goes into the black screen with the Apple Logo multiple times a day. Buttons don't work and putting it on the charger (or taking it off) makes no difference. This happens during ordinary use, charging, and exercise. It may last minutes or it may last hours. Do I have any recourse or am I just out $79 and my Watch? Thank you.

Since repairs done by Apple are also covered by a short warranty period, contact the official Apple Support again and ask them to diagnose the Apple Watch. Which, as a start, can also be done online.
