I uploaded music from a privately made CD years ago and was able to listen to it. My itunes match subscription ran out. I renewed it but I don't see that CD on my PC anymore. I can still see it on my iphone. It does not play there either.

Consider iTunes Match to be like a storage unit. If you don't remove all your stuff before you stop paying for it then they get rid of it. As I understand it Apple purge your record about 30 days after your unrenewed subscription expires. You should have downloaded all of your content that was in the cloud before you allowed the subscription to lapse.
