setup family sharing but icloud storage is not working on child account

If your iCloud storage isn't being shared with one family member, and you've already ensured you're sharing your iCloud storage using the steps in Share iCloud+ with your family under the "Share iCloud+ with everyone in your family" section, the device your child is using may not meet requirements.

To share iCloud+ with them, they'll need a device with iOS 11 or later, iPadOS, or macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later.

If this isn't the case in your situation, disabling sharing for iCloud+, then enabling it again may help refresh those settings on your child's device. To do this, follow the steps below from the Family Organizer's device.

1. Go to Settings > Account > Family Sharing > iCloud +
2. Tap, "Stop Sharing with Family"
3. Tap, the "Back" button
4. Tap, "iCloud +"
5. Tap, "Start Sharing with Family"
6. Exit Family Sharing Settings
