Apple Watch Force Restart Not Working

After the latest update, I can't turn off my watch to save power.

I have tried a forced reset but still the same, it comes up with the SOS alert

Any help ?

Thx,

Roger

Happy to help. It arrived with WatchOS 9 when it was released.

To power off your watch, press and hold the elongated power button until you see a power icon in the top right hand corner of the screen. Tap the power icon. Then swipe to power off.

A forced restart is completely different. To force restart your watch, press and hold BOTH the digital crown AND power buttons at the SAME TIME. Keep holding them until the screen goes dark and keep holding them until the Apple Logo appears, then LET GO. Sign back into your watch when prompted.
