How do I turn off two finger scroll through reading list?

How do I turn off two finger scroll through reading list? When I'm scrolling through particular pages in my reading list iOS will jump pages instead of scrolling within the page I'm on. I found a 2020 page on this but the link apple support provided was wholly unhelpful. It gave no instruction for a solution, other than I suppose just turning off trackpad scroll (how convenient that must be on a MacBook).

Hello aaronaw,

Though you cannot turn off this gesture for just Safari (or one app), you are able to disable it overall. Check out the steps here: Use Multi-Touch gestures on your Mac - Apple Support.

For more information about these gestures, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Trackpad. You can turn a gesture off, change the type of gesture, and learn which gestures work with your Mac.

We hope this information helps you out.

Kind regards!
