Burning CD-Apple Music claims disc not empty

Burning CD-Apple Music claims disc not empty but it is, it's from a fresh sealed package.

When I select the play list Music tells me to insert a blank disc but then claims disc is not blank.

Please advise.

Try another brand of CD-R.

Disc burning can be finicky. When I used to do a lot of burning, I gave up on every brand except Verbatim.

I've tried Memorex, Imation. Oh look just now a TDK just worked! I'll try a Maxell next.
