Buying music
Why can't I pay for music using a credit card or debit card? I have both linked and it won't take either.

For sure check again ->Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.
On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.
I have both linked and it won't take either.
You need to set one card as your default payment.
If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.
