Shortcuts - how to set duration of a workout?

Hi

weird issue here… I created a shortcut with 1 action that “Log workout” which:

  • date is current date
  • duration is 16 minutes
  • type is tai chi (for example)
  • kcal is 8
  • km is (empty)

the shortcut runs fine, but when I look in Health this exact workout has a duration of 0s. Upon closer inspection and multiple reruns I notice that the shortcuts app also terminates the shortcut with a summary that states 0s. Anyone else have this issue? Solvable or bug?

iPhone 14

Hi dMindFuse,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

We'd suggest deleting and setting up the Shortcut once more. Then if the issue continues, make sure the iPhone is fully updated to iOS 16.1.2 to rule out the issue being related to an outdated version of iOS.

Then contact Apple Support for a deeper dive.

Have a fantastic day!
