Family sharing with apple music

Good afternoon, I subscribed to the family tariff in music, and connected my family, but 1 of the family members cannot use music, it says on their phone that they need to renew the subscription. Can you find out why this is happening?

Here are a few possible reasons they may be having an issue:


  1. Subscription already has the maximum (6) number of subscribers.
  2. They are in a different region than the family group.


If neither of these conditions are true, we would suggest you follow these steps found at Add a family member to your subscriptions from Apple - Apple Support to send another invite and see if they are then able to subscribe:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name, then tap Family Sharing.
3. Tap Set Up Your Family, then follow the onscreen instructions and invite your family members. Already set up Family Sharing?
4. Eligible subscriptions are automatically shared with your family members.
