Pairing my MacBook Pro to my Cricut maker

I'm trying to pair my MacBook Pro to my Cricut maker, it connects for 5 seconds and then disconnects. I've tried turning on and off bluetooth, my Mac, my Cricut. Nothing works. Please help! What should I do?

Thank you! I have tried that. It connects for about 5-10 seconds then disconnects. I don’t think it is a Cricut issue since my phone and iPad connect to it easily.

Hello soha99,

We'd recommend resolving your issue by completing the steps listed here: Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac - Apple Support that are also listed below.

"Connect a Bluetooth device

  1. Make sure the device is turned on and discoverable (see the device’s documentation for details).
  2. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Bluetooth  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  3. Hold the pointer over the device in the list, then click Connect.
  4. If asked, click Accept (or enter a series of numbers, then press Enter).

You can also connect a Bluetooth device to your Mac by clicking the Bluetooth status icon  in the menu bar and choosing the device. If the icon isn’t shown in the menu bar, you can add it using Control Center settings."

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, then please follow the steps provided by Cricut support here: Cricut

Best regards.
