DO NOT DISTURB

I currently have an iPhone 13. I have watched multiple YouTube videos, had ppl screen record a how to and nothing I'm doing allows my DND to work. I have restarted my phone. I've changed the DND settings etc. calls are still coming in. And within my text messages, it is not notifying ppl that my notifications are silenced. I can see in my messages when other ppl have theirs on, but mine just won't work! Help!
