Mail in Ventura (and Catalina?)

Hi! How can I create a consolidated Junk folder from all my mail accounts — ? Right now junk seems to be individualized per account, so to find junk with multiple accounts, you have to click in several places — which is new — is it possible to make them into one folder or add a folder at the tope that contains all the junk?

Junk Mail - All Junk mailbox? Hello! I am configuring a new Mac Mini M2 Pro with Ventura. I most recently ran Catalina on an older iMac, the highest OS I could use on that machine. In Catalina, I had a Junk mailbox that was the junk box for all accounts together, listed under the Sent mailbox (for all accounts). The setup in Ventura has All Inboxes, Flagged, All Drafts and All Sent - but no corresponding All Junk. Each account has its own Junk mailbox. How do I get it to show All Junk in one place? (BTW, my mail settings did not import from the old iMac, so I am setting things up myself.) Thank you!!

MacOS Mail junk versus spam I regularly check my JUNK folder to restore legitimate emails which are often included, and then delete all the rest. But there are also SPAM folders which are independent of the Junk filter. How can I ensure that these unread spam emails are automatically moved to the Junk folder so I don’t have to scan the rubbish twice? If I manually move all the spam emails to Junk, will MAIL then remember that the spam emails are also junk and move them there automatically in future? Would they also retain the label SPAM which is visible in my smart mailbox for UNREAD mail? How does MAIL distinguish between JUNK and SPAM? If the Spam emails are registered externally by Apple, then I would feel confident in just deleting them all without even checking them, something I cannot do with Junk mail.

Where did my Mail junk folder go? In my Mail program, I don't see a Junk Folder. I have INBOX, DRAFTS, SENT and TRASH, in that order from the top, but there is no Junk folder listed. I checked in both Settings > Mail, and the settings in the Mail app itself, but can’t find where to get it back. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Yes!

In the sidebar, hover your cursor next to "favorites" and look for a "+" in a circle to appear just to the right.

Click on it to bring up the "Add Favorite" dialog box.

From the "Mailbox to Add:" dropdown menu select "All Junk".
