black circle on the screen of my iPad pro 3rd gen (11 inch)

So i was opening my iPad case. And then suddenly, i find this black circle on the screen. I tried scratching it to see if it was from the inside or the outside.. it’s from the inside. I’m not sure if what it needs is a screen replacement, or something else.. I’ve already had many technical problems with my iPad but not a crack on the screen. Someone please help me!

Your screen has been broken - and requires replacement. The damage that you illustrate is characteristic of extreme pressure, or impact, at the corner of the screen - as is the visible crack in your photo.


You can explore your repair options at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess your iPad:

Alternatively, you might use Apple’s mail-in repair service:
