That is highly dependent on what you're backing up on the device and how. You can see the size of the next backup in Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud backup, select the device for details.

Thank you. I have always done full backups to my PC but would also like back up to iCloud. It doesn’t appear that space required comes from my personal iCloud storage so I should be fine.
