When I type on email a sentence that begins with I, the second word after automatically capitalizes. It has been going on for years. I either leave it or I go back and correct it.

We understand if you don't want to turn off Auto-Correction permanently. But it is a valid troubleshooting step to turn off the feature and use the iPhone for an hour or so. Then restart your iPhone to refresh it and enable Auto-Correction again. Let us know the results.

If I do that I have to capitalize the first word of every sentence. The only word that auto capitalizes is the letter I. This only happens on email on my iPhone not on messages.
This does not fix the problem.
I chatted with someone and they suggested have auto caps on but auto correct off and so far this is working.
