Apple Watch stopped sticking to the charger

My Apple Watch stopped sticking to the charger. I forced a restart and still won’t stick. Please help!

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 8

Hello, thanks for replying. So what happened, was it got stuck to an MRI machine! After it was stuck up there and I removed it, it was working just fine, but then trying to put it on the charger, it won’t. It’s like trying to put the negative sides of a magnet together. So it’s not changing the watch anymore. It’s like the MRI turned the magnet around.

MRI = Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It destroyed the magnets in the charger. It cannot be fixed. It's a throwaway (please recycle it responsibly to avoid electronic waste). You need to buy a new charger and keep it away from powerful magnets, such as would be found in an MRI.

In order for a magnet to work all of the magnetic lines need to be pointing in one direction. If you accidentally slammed your Apple charger on the floor or dropped it very hard it might’ve messed up with the magnetic field lines and it won’t stick anymore. At least it still charge is it
