Service Battery Notification: out of coverage.

is there a way to get the battery for my iPhone serviced without having to send the unit in for the repair?

iPhone 7, iOS 15

You will need to take the phone to an Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop to replace the battery.


Apple does not sell batteries online or to other shops that are not specifically authorized to repair Apple products.


Make sure that you get a genuine Apple battery, otherwise Battery Health and other battery functions will not work.
