Changing chronological order of the photos and videos of "Photos" / "My Media" of iMovie.

I was hoping there would be a change for this, but I can't find it. And it's been a problem for about a year.

In the "My Media" tab, with the "Photos" library selected on the left side, how can the items (photos or videos) listed be displayed in ascending chronological order?

I take individual video segments for my YT projects, and in the past, I could just bring them into iMovie as they were in natural chronological order. But with some software change at the start of the year, it is shown as earliest to latest. And doing a group of 20 segments one at a time rather than a group into iMovie to get the correct timeline gets old. It's not an issue in the native Photos albums.

It used to be fine before, and I can't be the only one this is annoying.

The photos displayed via the Photos item in the iMovie sidebar are not yet in the iMovie system. iMovie is just referencing them in the order that they exist in the Photos app library. Therefore iMovie cannot sort them in the media browser display of the Photos app pics. Drag the photos onto the icon bearing the project's name under the heading "Project Media" in the project sidebar. That will display them in the media browser and put them into the iMovie system. Then you can do a View/Sort Clips by/Ascending/Date.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, that works - thanks.

I'll just point out that on my older MAC with High Sierra, I can use the Photos Library in the sidebar, and it's in the sending order, not descending with the newer MAC. This works, but it is added steps that must be done every time I add more content to the Photos album, then add it to the iMovie project.
