Apple TV+ addional payments

Hi.

can someone please explain the Apple TV+ subscription?

I have a subscription, I can see some movies.

but there is other movies that I need to extra pay to buy or rent.

if so , why subscription?

can I only buy or rent what I want (without subscription)
