How do you “Refresh “ the find my app? A lot of times it is 20 minutes or LONGER before can get current location of phone/device. This is way too long when trying to keep track of 4 kids. Help please
Track using “people” rather than device. That will follow them in real time. Make sure each device is associated with a person.

You can get the location of any device within seconds by opening the Find My app. If a device does not appear quickly it means that it does not have an Internet connection. There is no “refresh” feature because there is no need for it.
Ya it works when you first open but I’m talking about keeping up w/ my 4 kids. So if they moving down road then “Device Icon” does not move also. Now phone will eventually go to live but they smart. They leave c/p in one spot & keep moving. So have to find them w/ Apple Watch or Apple AirTag but the lag & do not update w/ movements. That is what I am asking about. How do you get the “Device Icon” to refresh positions in that app?? I just want to keep them safe as possible & out of trouble
