How to connect iPhone 14 Pro Max to my PC usb-3 port? This phone has usb-c at end of cable, which will not go into the usb-3 port.

Would you mind explaining how a wall adapter, using my current cable that came with iPhone 14, help me to connect directly to my PC, which doesn't have a USB-C port? One end of the supplied cable is a flat part (lightning) I plug into the phone, but the other end is strictly USB-C.
